The Style of Theory

The Style of Theory…

Had a visit to our favorite Neiman Marcus for Theory's Spring 2015 Press Release in-store.
The best way for a lady to start her day, Mimosa's and Fashion!

Experience the Theory!

Before the Press Release begins…
Mimosa, please! HA!

What's haute this Spring amongst all trends?
White on white.
It's all about the white!
Theory does a sophisticated take on an everyday essential making it possible for the working woman to enjoy.

Krezia Netted top and Rortie B A-line skirt are gorgeous pieces that are haute on the market.

More whites to keep you simply chic.
Hesha half-sleeve boxy top and a Zaiken patterened A-line.

Lagata Two-tone Utility coat is perfectly chic for any day out.

The Jiliya Long Linen Vest has to be one of my favorites from the Spring Collection.
Can easily be worn as a dress or throw it over a white tee and denim. Maybe turn it up a notch with an A-line skirt, pencil skirt, cigarette pants and, so forth...

We got our eyes on this one!

But lets's not forget the hautest trend of this season (next to white), CULOTTES!!!
The thicker the material, the more polished, sleeker, elongated silhouette you'll have.
So, NO! It's not too hot to be the trendiest in the room… *wink* wink*

Suede for Summer???
YESSSSSSS!!!!!

Definitely, on my wish list!

Party all the time!
Leather pleated skirts in navy blue!
My kind of Theory!

Krezia open-stitched cropped top. Pair with your favorite trousers, skirts or denim. That's the beauty of Theory! Versatility in your clothing from the office, to happy hour or maybe just out and about.

Of course, we couldn't leave without taking a selfie with Morgan, the beautiful stylist of Theory!
Chic Street Gorge!

Hey, there!
Thanks for coming with this cute little canvas clutch and scarf!
P.S. The perfect floral print scarf is exclusive to Neiman Marcus by Theory...
You may notice this pattern throughout the collection at Neiman's on blouses and dresses, plus it's more than perfect for Spring!

"Pant Theory:
The modern urban uniform starts with a precisely tailored pair pants. Theory's signature fit us perfected season after season using fabrics sourced from the best mills in the world. For Spring/Summer 2015, new proportions in neutral colors project undone effortledd, from fluidly draped menswear-inspired trousers to elongated silhouettes with classic jet-set chic. A sophisticated take on an everyday essential."

Not only are the pants to die for and well worth the bucks, the blouses, skirts, dresses, tunics are all key pieces in the working business woman wardrobe.

The style of Theory…
A chic experience that keeps us going back for more!

Faux &The Chic

Last day of Winter ~
Faux Leather Dress and Booties with a Starbucks Caramel Macchiato…

The dress has a layered skirt in a faux leather twist. I love the flow of the skirt, not to heavy, not to hot or sticky. Perfect silhouette for any day out. And, for less than $100?? Oh, YES!

Not sure why I waited to the last day of Winter to pop the tags on it but I'll do this on a Spring night and Fall, then back to Winter… HA!

Simply Chic with no effort.
Just throw on, prep hair and roll out…

Outfit Details ~ Dress & Booties - Zara; Clutches ~ Michael Kors and Theory; Hair ~ AfroLife

In love with everything Zara!
Although, the pictures were taken inside of H&M and Banana Republic… LOL!!!

Goodbye, Winter!

Bodysuits & Boyfriends…

Happy Casual Monday Hautee's!!!

Over the weekend, we took our bad attitudes and turned it into haute streetstyle!

Bodysuit & Boyfriend jeans, so it is…

The cut-out back bodysuit is everything SEXY!
With a halter top around the neck giving the perfect plunge around the neckline on down.
It's all cotton and stretches exactly to my liking. I always feel like the icing on a cupcake in this bodysuit. HA!

Hollister had an awesome sale a few weeks ago, with all their jeans on sale for only $25. The high-waisted boyfriend cut jeans were on right on my radar. Distressed, YES! I get the vibe of wearing mom jeans without actually wearing "mom jeans"… LOL!
We're going back to the 80's!

Hey now!

The sexy bodysuit with my high-waisted boyfriend cut jeans, cobalt blue blazer, gray suede booties and the hair that starts most of my conversations…

No secret, blue is my favorite color and I'm always looking for ways to incorporate blue in all of my ensembles. But, it's great for adding a pop of color to life!

Outfit Details: BodySuit ~ American Apparel; Boyfriend jeans ~ Hollister; Blazer ~ Nonno Boutique; Cut-out Booties ~ Zara; Hair ~ Wild Fro

Sweatshirt, Skinny's and a Coat

Some days are made for Sweatshirts and Skinny Jeans…
Just add pumps and an overcoat for Downtown Chic Street…
And, your in love!

Coffee anyone???

The calf-length coat gives the usual everyday, casual ensemble, a more polished look when dressing down or casually chic.
The color scheme of things, plays a huge role in an effortless "hey, let's go grab some coffee and whatever else happens" type of look.
What I love most about this one-button coat, would be the one-button. LOL!
 Perfect for Spring nights!
Not too heavy, not too thick.
Just right for those cool, breezy (not frosty the snowman) days…

The sweatshirt and skinny jeans are our favorites. Right?
Your go-to skinny jeans that hugs everything right and tight.
The graphic tee you like to layer under your tops.
The sweatshirt that was on sale last week and too cute to pass with all its attitude (when you're not even suppose to be shopping. *wink*).
And, don't forget those pumps! (Pop of color, we like!)

What's really HAUTE???
Leopard print sleeves on my sweatshirt!
Because leopard print NEVER goes out of style...

Outfit Details: Coat ~ Zara; Skinny jeans ~ H&M; Tee ~ Marshall's; Sweatshirt ~ Wilde Heart (Salt Studio Boutique); Pumps ~ BCBG; Hair ~ Wild; Coffee ~ Tout Suite (Eado Houston)

Jacket or no jacket, we're ready for coffee!

The sweatshirt I copped from a boutique that's new to myself in the River Oaks Shopping area. Retail was $62.00 but with 25% off, $46.00 in the bag!
Salt Studio Boutique:

The coat belongs to Zara but for a little over a $100, I'm sure that'll let it be yours!
I mean, who doesn't know that we're in love with Zara?
