Grammy's 2014 Recap on the Carpet

What can I say? The Grammy's is always the Biggest night, in music. The Ultimate, Award show celebrating some of the Greatest musician's, old skools and the new comers.

Last night, was EXPLOVISIVE! And the Red Carpet was on Fire!!! Style and Grace was in full effect for many and for others, eh, not so much. Gowns, were HAUTE off the Runway and Styled to Perfection!

But first, Ms. Fantasia, WTF!?! Who did this to you!?! I have questions and concerns but I'm not sure how to begin... I'm just going to move along, at this time. Do we even care to know what she's wearing?

Wiz Khalifah and Amber Rose... Hmmm... Well, Wiz looks like Wiz. However, it's something about this fitted suit that's giving him a little daper vibe, just a little. Amber, one hot mama, in that Creme Gown, clinching her body in all the right places, paired with her blonde bald head and hubby in hand. Does the body chemistry look a little off between the two?

Ci-Ci hit the Red Carpet just GLOWING!!! Show off! She looked BEAUTIFUL in that Emilio Pucci Gown, wearing her pregnancy in Glam.
LOVE! MUAH!

Pharell, Pharell! Can someone please tell me his secret to youth!?! What does he drink? What does he eat? What products does he use? Who's his MF'n doctor? LOL!

I just ADORE this man! And to show up to the Grammy's and hit the Red Carpet looking like Smokey the Bear in that hat!!! May I add, A FIONE ASS Smokey the Bear!!! He is such a man/fashionista!

Katy Perry, glided across the Red Carpet as a True Music Star, wearing this Extraordinary musical number from Valentino's Spring 2014 Collection. Sheer was definitely the "IT" thing last night, in my opinions. But I loved how she kept it simple, which made this just so darn Sexy to me.

The AMAZING, Alicia Keyes in Armani Prive Dress with a plunging neckline that requires no breast (shrugs), and that one of a kind smile. I'm in ABSOLUTE LOVE with Armani Prive's Spring 2014 Collection. So, this was definitely a winner in my book.

One of my Besties and I just ADORED this Emanuel Ungaro's look on Zendaya Coleman. It's 'Out the Box', Fresh, Haute, Chic! And, she wore it so Graciously with a small hand clutch. I enjoyed this more on her than I did on the Runway.

ADORE! ADORE! ADORE!

Now to the speechless. Mrs. Carter almost gave me an orgasm when I saw her on that Red Carpet in this Michael Costello, Sheer, Ethereal dress. Let's not leave out the fact that she was also wearing 10 million dollars worth of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds. They don't call her Queen Bey for nothing.

Now, Paris Hilton, was absolutely EVERYTHING in that House of Milani , see-through, stripped sleeved Gown. Although, Mrs. Carter almost gave me an orgasm, Paris Hilton, actually did, when I seen her on that Carpet, which made her my #1 favorite of the night! Nevermind that she was with Birdman of Cash Money... She was just to die for!!!
And glad to see her back...

The Show was Great! But I'm a huge fan of the Red Carpet with Stars looking their absolute Best and Styled to Perfection! I also enjoy the ones who were clueless on what to wear or what Stylist to call (LOL!).

As usual, there were lots and lots of Stunning Gowns and Stars on that Carpet last night. Unfortunately, there were only a few that almost made my heart stop beating.

What were your thoughts and/or favorites from last night's Red Carpet?

Armani Prive Spring 2014 - Blue's Top 3

We're going to see a lot of Blues this Season and Armani Prive, Nailed it! It's by far, my favorite for this upcoming Season!

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it! HA! As if I would be wearing any of those BEAUTIFUL pieces...

A Diva on a Dime can dream though and with Blue being my favorite color and all, I just LOVED every bit of this line! However, I had my favorites, of course. The 3 looks that were just Amazingly, Jaw-dropping, in my opinions, are my favorite picks of this Spring Collection.

Hollywood Blue! Hollywood Blue! That's exactly how I like to see Blue! Fierce, Bold, Confident and Top of the Line!

Looking to stop traffic, break necks, and become that BISH!?! Well, there you have it. Blue Sex! Yes, I gave each look my own name. HA! Not the Dress you wear out with your girlfriends, but the kind of ensemble you wear when you're having that 'you can't sit with me' type of attitude/night. That Beaded get-up says, 'All 5's listen when a 10 is talking'. (LOL!)

I can't even begin to describe how I feel when I look at this Lace Gown. It's Blue Love! It's Power! Scorching Haute, Elegant, Classy and Extreme Sex Appeal! And, all in one...
Definitely one of my predictions for the Grammy's.

SCREAMING BRAVO, MY DARLING! BRAVO!!!

Forever in Love with Armani Prive

Now, let's see if who or anyone pulls one of these off tonight.

What were your favorite looks from the Armani Prive 2014 Spring Collection?

Sunday Pinks

It's a Gorgeous day, outside, in ATX and we're out and about in our Sunday Pinks.

Pageant meetings for the teenager and well, for me, it's just another trip out of town.

The teenager kept it young lady-like, fun and playful with a Pink Chiffon Dress, Black Blazer, a belt that we made from a neck tie on one of my shirts, Black Lace-up cuties on the feet and an oversized, 80's styled, pair of glasses.

Her Outfit Details:

Blazer - Cotton On
Dress - Some Boutique on SoCo in ATX
Shoes - Pavement in Houston

My Pink had nothing to do with her Pink. Not planned, she just learns from the best (wink wink). I wore my Pink shirt with Wide Leg/Bell Bottom Dark-Blue Jeans, a Grey Sweater, Animal Print Hair- Calf Platform Booties and of course, my favorite Afro.

My Outfit Details:

Wide Leg Jeans - 7 for all Mankind

Are you ever out and about, looking like you want to look and forget to get a photo taken of yourself? I seem to have these 'caught up in the moments' quite often.

No worries! Thanks to #Selfies.

While at the Kurves and Kocktails Event, the other night, I was so busy trying to get pictures of others, I forgot to get a photo of myself. But when I got home, I couldn't stay out the mirror (shrugs).

So, here are my #Selfies.

HA! Extra and all... Maybe tipsy, just a bit...
Love yourself or no one else will.

Dress - BCBG
Thigh-high Boots - BeBe

Saturday Black with a Pop of Color

Saturday afternoon Style.

Feeling like I'm feeling, black was the color of the day. It's gorgeous outside, still feeling the black, so adding a pop of color to soften up this edgy street style, just seem more ideal.

WAIT!?! I'm not ready yet...

Aight, forget it, roll the camera!

One of my favorite looks, Blazer, Jeans, V-Neck and a Haute pair of Heels. Spur of the moment accessories and we're out!

The Style can be worn in a million different ways. You can create it over and over again, as you please. I wear it however I want with a new twist each time and that's probably why it's one of my favs because it never gets boring. (IMO)

DON'T FORGET THE CONFIDENCE!!!

Outfit Details:

Blazer - Max Mara
VNeck - from Target
Jeans - Levi's
Accessories - ALDO and some Boutique pieces
Hair - Twist-out

Kurves & Kocktails 2014

Kurves & Kocktails Presented by Pinkk Mango was a one of a kind Event showcasing 'Real Women' of Curves. The beginning of 'The Kurvy' movement, that's been missing for far too long. Pinkk Mango's goal is to curate Kurvy experiences in this fashion market and I'm excited to see this take-off!!

The venue was intimate with great vibes, models that were GIVING ME LIFE, music was grown and sexy, drinks were being served, conversations, and pictures taken.
Now, the show!

Looks of the Evening. Yes, I took a photo of the card... (LOL!)
No Judgment Zone, eh!?!

Talk about 'Stunting'!?! Keyatta was all of that! She WORKED and ROCKED IT!!! I'll admit, I SUCK at Photography. However, it'll get better. But I had to show you the print on that Jumper by Le Glam P.O.C. I mean, if you could see, at least a little of what you would see, if you could see it.

I LOVE this Dress! It accentuated her Curves, perfect! Orchid is a Haute color this season, so this ensemble is right on point. Oh! And did I tell you how much I LOVED the Attitude and Confidence she added to make it her own!

Ms. 'Let me show you how to do this' was definitely in the Building!!!

Le Glam P.O.C. HAUTE!!!

The Designers here are indeed raising the bar for Kurvy Fashion.

More Pics! More Fashion! More Haute-ness!

Designs by M. V. C.

Love! Love! Love!
Can we say looking like Money-Money!?!

Chyenne OWNED this Dress by M.V.C! I mean, it was to the point to where, I had to catch her backstage for a picture as I may have been a little too in AWE, when she hit that Runway. LOL!

After the show, it's the After Party!

The curtains pulled back and it was time for an up-close, first look. The looks were also available for purchase backstage. I, myself, saw quite a few pieces that I would definitely like to Style some of my clients in, for sure.

More drinks, eateries, Beauty Bar, and Nail Bar!  Pinkk Mango did an Excellent job!

I caught up with a couple of models backstage and shared some smiles, they were just Dolls.

Met some great folks, lots of small businesses in their starting process that I'm looking forward to working with in the near future.

Overall, a Great turn-out and beginning for Kurves and Kocktails!

The Show was Sexy, Edgy, Fly and Haute! Haute! Haute!

AMAZING!!! AWESOME Designers! And whoever said Curvacious Women don't have a place in the 'Mainstream Fashion Market' is a DAMN FOOL!!!

Ladies and Gentleman, the founder of Pinkk Mango and the GEM that made this Event happen; The Beautiful Charlene 'Andie' James.

Get Dressed for What!?!

One of those days and don't feel like getting dressed, huh? Yes, we all have them. Even the Fresh to Death have their 'I'm Chill'n' day. But, that doesn't mean let all your guards down. Keep it ChicStreet on your downer days!

What girl doesn't LOVE a tight-fitted pair of jeans!?! A cute blouse that accentuates the neck/cleavage area with the wildest pair of Pumps you can find in your closet. And if it's cold and raining, like it currently is here in Houston, edge it up with a Leather Jacket. I added a Beanie being that I washed my hair this morning and it's cold outside but whatever, moral of the story, my hair is a mess. HA!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these Bad Boys!
My Darlings!

WALLA! Dressed but not Dressed...
And I'm Out!

Outfit Details:

Shirt - ReneeC.
Jeans - Levi's
Heels - Red Kiss
Leather - Members Only

The Chronicles of Organizing My Closet... Part 2

Part 2 of Organizing My Closet as I downsized.

Step 2: Hang up all the hangers to make the process a little cleaner, organized and easy. It's not necessary to color code your hangers but if you just happen to have O.C.D like I do at times, then have at it. Oh! And using 'REAL' hangers would be Awesome! But I'm too cheap for all that. HA! So, plastic it be!

Next, hang up everything in the closet and let the color coding begin. My goal is to organize by color so I'll know exactly where to go when choosing an outfit for the day.

The closet is a little tight on space but I made it work as much as I could. As you can see, I kept Black with Black, Brown with Brown, Creme with Creme, Blue with Blue, and whatever other colors I seldom wear.

Okay! Okay! It got just a tad bit cluttered. Just a little but we're not done yet.

It's going to get real dark in here, shortly, due to my obsession with Brown, Black, Blue and Grey but I've been trying to add more color in my wardrobe. (Huge Smirk)

Almost there but not really... What's left? Finish color coding now that everything is hung up. Until then, I have this.

Once I'm finally complete, life will be so much easier... I tell ya... In my opinion, being able to access your clothes quickly, can save us a lot of time. Look at it like this but in regards to your closet, "If your 'Closet' stay ready, you ain't never got to get ready".

Stay Tuned for the Ending Result
