We're back in Floral prints again! For those who wanted it gone, unfortunately, it's not going anywhere, anytime soon... Might as well just buy a pair!

Target's last year Spring Collection still looks HAUTE on ya gurl! HA!

HUGE! HUGE! HUGE FAN of Target`! The smell of fresh Popcorn popping, Starbucks brewing, a little grocery shopping and of course, my favorite, shopping for Haute deals!

Don't be too Bougie to hit them racks! You wouldn't want to miss out on some of the Collections that are being designed just for Target!

That's different? Polka dots, Stripes, Mixed print, solids, layers, just make it interesting. Yes, I had to do a "do-over" with the dots and floral due to the facial expression I had when I originally put this ensemble together a year ago... ( chuckles)...

The Good Old Jeans

The feeling you get when you realize those good/old jeans are still a WINNER!!!

Good 'quality' jeans can last, FOREVER! Sometimes, spending an extra buck or two can be well worth it. I know what you're thinking... Designer jeans are expensive! Right!?! But would you prefer spending $100 bucks on jeans that will last for years to come or $20 on a pair that may not last longer than a few months?

I'm just saying... 

P.S. I've had these jeans for 6 or 7 years now. Yes, they look a little rough around the edges but I think it's Fantastic!

 

Oh! And don't get me wrong, there are a lot of 'quality' jeans for less than $100, such as; Levi's! I'm not sure about you but a girl just can't live without those Classics! HA!

Moral of the story to my Divas on a Dime: 'Quality' always trunks 'Quantity'! 

And it doesn't have to be designer, either... We just want to wear our jeans, over and over, again... Or is it just me? 

I almost added a booty pic for more attention and so y'all could understand these jeans but

that would be outside my character...

It's Everyone's favorite day of the week, Monday! (LMAO!) Not really, huh!?! Well, let's give'em the Blues!!!

Starting off with yesterday's look because I accidentally wore Casual Monday on Sunday but it turned out Perfect!.. (smirk)

Layers were my go to for this look... I took a sleeveless button-up blouse, my favorite graphic tee that describes me and a colored cardigan... With my Chucks and Levi's!

Blue is my favorite color! You can always catch me wearing Blue... My color of Confidence!

When it's gloomy outdoors, wear colors that make you - POP!

Let your hair down Ladies! Take off those glasses! Grab a pair of pumps and put them in your bag for that Monday Happy Hour!

I got today's idea, from my Style Brunch, with the Lovely, Monica Lewis School of Etiquette, the other day. Monica told me how she thinks an all black ensemble is a must have in her wardrobe and high waisted skirts are her favorite.

So, here I am, all black, high-waisted skirt, outrageous heels... But done, Goldan Blue Style.

Turn those skirts around Ladies! Don't be afraid to go backwards like that old 90's Criss Cross era, except with skirts!

I wanted a different look from this skirt, being that I've already worn it 'right'. 

Goldan filling out this Skirt! I look DAMN GOOD! I ain't lost it! And I ain't missed a beat!

The Favorite Levi Twist: 5 Ways

Do you have a favorite pair of Jeans that you always like to throw on when you're chilling and/or relaxing? 

My favorite pair of jeans are Levi's! Hands down! Something about Levi's that never gets old or goes out of Style. A Classic pair of jeans you can ALWAYS depend on! And they last, FOREVER!!!

I don't know about you but when I find a pair of jeans that clinch my curves just right, I tend to wear them over and over again. However, I try to keep it fresh, each and every time I wear them. So, here are 5 different ways to wear those favorite jeans.

 

The key is to never wear them the same way. Rock'em with another shirt, blouse, sweater, add a jacket or no jacket, blazer or no blazer, pumps, sneakers, sandals, or boots. 

Moral of the Story: Just Remix!

Women on the Rise: Style Brunch with the Lovely, Mrs.Monica Lewis, School of Etiquette.

Peli Peli, South African Fusion in Vintage Park, here in Houston, was AMAZING!!! The restaurant is cozy, romantic, upscale and has live Jazz, too! LOVE!!!

Nevermind the guy on the ladder in the front, he adds character to the picture. (LOL!)

I met this Beauty, last week, at the M.Penner of Houston in Uptown Park, Fashion Show/ Fundraiser for R4S Foundation. And let me tell you, when this Doll walked through that door, ALL EYES ON MRS. LEWIS!

I know, I quickly began to make my way across the room to get a closer look, as well as others. Now, I'm shy, not really a 'people type of person' but when she and I approached each other, I felt, immediate chemistry! We talked, giggled, took pics of one another, exchanged contact information, made plans to brunch, mingled more and enjoyed the show! 

Mrs. Lewis, a passionate Etiquette Instructor, who promotes awareness about how important social presentation and behaviors matter for a successful lifestyle.

A vibrant personality that stands out in a crowd! A wife, mother, actively involved with her church and community and mentoring teenage girls, here in Houston.

And with much Style & Grace!!!

Monica Lewis School of Etiquette, provides Etiquette courses from Corporate to Schools, Social/Dining, children/teens, adults tea etiquette (too cute).

Casual Monday's: Miami Vice Style

We're back to Casual Monday's, this time, Miami Vice Style! 

Okay, just to give you a little 411... I have a background in Network Engineering, basically, I come from the IT world (stylish geek). However, I recently quit the Corporate world, to be exact, a month ago, for fashion. Anywho, my schedule was always hectic and my Monday's, were my Friday's, which explains these casual Monday's. 

But to be honest, I NEVER got dressed for work, just jeans and T-shirt and sneakers. HA!

It's a BEAUTIFUL day in the neighborhood! I just found out it's a holiday too! Sssshhhh! Don't judge me... 

Cupcakes on my mind before we pay the bills, and of course, catch these holiday deals!

Let's keep it #ChicStreet! Whether, it's running errands, catching holiday sales or living the life in the office, this ensemble is perfect! It even works for chill time on the weekends.
